More than just images
If you want to upload a media file, you can do so via Media. You can upload your images here, of course, but you can also upload downloadable files like a PDF of your terms and conditions or privacy statement.
Image settings
Furthermore, it's important to set the correct image settings. You can crop images, change the resolution, and more, but the most important is the alternative text. This is also called alt text. Alt text is the text that Google reads for searches, making your site more searchable. This text is also read by screen readers, making the site more accessible for users with limited vision.
Add clear alternative text to your image for better accessibility and searchability. You can also add a caption to your image, such as the one you're reading now.
