Dashboard pages
From your dashboard, you can also go to the Pages section to get an overview of all pages and edit them. However, here you're editing the pages on the backend of the site, which is starting to feel more like coding. Therefore, we have an even easier option for you. For now, all you need to know is that you can easily change page titles here. Please note that when you commissioned your content, these titles were chosen by us to ensure good search results. Changing titles may affect this.
Edit pages on the front end
An easier way to edit pages is to simply go to a page while logged in to your site. As long as you're logged in, you can open your site in a new tab and you'll see a black administrator bar at the top.
Navigate to the page you want to edit, and then click Edit with WPBakery Page Builder in the admin bar. The page will reload with an editing bar at the top. Here you can add elements to the page or save your changes.
When you hover your mouse over elements on the page, you'll see a name appear along with some options. There's usually a pencil icon to edit the element. A row is a space on the page running from left to right, divided into columns. A column contains the deepest point, the actual element (e.g., an image, blog post text, or heading).
What is safe to change?
You can make minor changes to text and an image here, and you can remove elements you no longer want to display on the page. Don't forget to save your changes by clicking Update in the top right corner.
Back to an earlier version
It is possible that you have accidentally deleted something. In the blue bar, there is a round arrow pointing left that allows you to undo changes. Should you really get stuck and have already accidentally saved the page? Via the Dashboard, you can go to Pages and then edit the page on the backend. There, in the right sidebar, you will see Revisions, which allows you to revert the page to an earlier version. If you are unsure, you can also always contact us by emailing updates@mediaversa.nl.
