From 2000 to Now: Growing Businesses Online

Twenty-five years ago, Alexander started Mediaversa in a small room upstairs in his house in Sint-Oedenrode. Having worked in local media for years and with extensive experience in IT, he came up with the idea of establishing a media and web agency. He wanted a name that would encompass a wide range of products and services, and that became Mediaversa!

Soon, the focus shifted entirely to the internet. It proved to be a bull's-eye. Within three months, the first employee, Roland, was hired, allowing Alexander to pursue his passion, reaching out to customers, while Roland handled the helpdesk and design. Thus began a wonderful journey full of growth and exciting clients and projects.

The first customers

Our first clients excelled in their versatility. From bakers to industrial wholesalers, from coaches to schools. This helped us focus primarily on the marketing side of websites. We aimed for high search engine rankings and carefully considered our customers and who our customers' customers were. Target audiences and unique selling points are the foundation of every success. Knowing what you want to achieve! Success is the result of a well-considered choice!

First own project: forlittethings.com

At some point, we had some time on our hands and started brainstorming. What could we do with the time, and what would be smart? We started in Sint-Oedenrode, and we thought, what could be more interesting than opening a clog shop? Because we achieved high search engine rankings both nationally and internationally, we reached many potential customers. Kuoni, a global travel company, and McDonald's were among our customers. However, after a few years, we decided to close the clog shop because it was becoming very impractical. Pallets of clogs and order processing in an office where we wanted to work quietly and help our customers didn't quite mesh at the time.

Our Services

  • Websites
  • Internet Marketing
  • Web software
  • Online stores

Our services are divided into four main categories. However, we offer full support to companies in marketing and organizational matters. For example, we advise on the use of open-source software and assist with developing corporate identities and branding. Naturally, we also collaborate with third parties in this area. After all, the success of a website is also linked to other (organizational) aspects.

The society

We don't just work for ourselves. We support various organizations and foundations in their good work. Think of Bogota Without Hunger, which offers a helping hand to street children in Bogota, and the Hands 2 Help Foundation, which helps people who are stuck in the Netherlands and can't seem to find their feet.
We also support many local associations and foundations that make villages more beautiful and welcoming. For example, we supported the Kilsdonk Mill Foundation during its construction
and the Ranja Foundation. We also assist many parishes and church communities.

We do not work with clients who want criminal, violent or sexually suggestive content.

Our team: The heart of Mediaversa

What once started with two people has grown into a team of 8 permanent employees and a number of freelancers and foreign workers.

We worked from Sint-Oedenrode during our first years. This was followed by Veghel and Uden, where we were based for no less than 17 years. Today, we are proudly located in Schaijk. Despite the growth, one thing has remained the same: a close-knit team with a passion for the internet!
Thank you to our team and everyone who has supported us over the past 25 years!

Our Locations: From Room to Office

  • Sint-Oedenrode – Irenestraat 15
  • Veghel – De Amert
  • Veghel – Pastor van den Elzenlaan
  • Uden – Protonenlaan 3 (our home for 17 years)
  • Schaijk – Palmstraat 1b (Our current location!)

Each step brought us closer to who we are today: a committed partner for our customers.

The future: ready for the next 25 years!

Mediaversa is far from finished! We continue to grow with our own concepts, such as datingevent.nl and Villato.nl. We embrace new technologies like AI and continue to surprise our clients with innovative solutions.

Our motto for the future: Growing together with confidence and fun!
We look forward to the next 25 years with a positive outlook. Who knows what the future holds?

Alexander:

“Whether I will still be working on it in 25 years? I am 52 now, so to be honest: no idea.
But one thing I do know—if you enjoy what you do (and I do!), you can keep doing it for a surprisingly long time!”

Thank you for 25 fantastic years!
On to the next milestone!
